Canadian Brass

In 1970, friends Chuck Daellenbach and Gene Watts first came together to form a brass quintet - the Canadian Brass - the first group of its kind to take the stage at Carnegie Hall and set the standard for delivering an energetic and endlessly entertaining show. The Brass has made 90 recordings, sold over one million albums and continue to appear in packed houses in innumerable world-wide performances. Their vast repertoire includes Baroque masters, marches, Dixieland, jazz and Broadway music.

With their distinctive sneakers, suit jackets and gold-plated instruments, the Canadian Brass will once again dazzle SMC concert goers.

Chuck Daellenbach (tuba), Christopher Coletti and Brandon Ridenour (trumpets), Keith Dryda (trombone - a native of Oakbank) and Eric Reed (horn) present an unbeatable blend of virtuosity and humour. Southern Manitoba Concerts welcomes back the Canadian Brass!
