Caladh Nua means a 'new harbour' or 'new shelter place' - a comfortable place where music and song sets a warm, lovely atmosphere.
This unique band was formed in early 2009 as a result of talented musicians crossing paths and wanting to share their music with the world. The five very talented musicians are from various regions in Ireland. Their program consists of traditional Irish dance music and songs together with more recently composed pieces. Caladh Nua has a perfect balance between innovation and preservation of Ireland's wonderful music and song.
The band's special repertoire and energy is guaranteed to capture an audience of any generation!
